Salem is the president and founder of Abraham Trading Company.  Salem grew up in Canadian, Texas, where his family has been involved in the ranching and commodities business for over 100 years.   Salem attended the University of Notre Dame starting in August of 1984.  Salem did extensive research in the technical and methodological aspects of futures trading. Combining the information he gathered with ideas that he developed during his research, he began the task of back-testing the profitability of numerous trading theories.  Salem graduated cum laude with a B.B.A. in Finance in December of 1987 and moved back to Canadian, where in January of 1988, he began to manage customer accounts using his systematic approach.  He became registered as a Commodity Trading Advisor in October 1988 and organized Abraham Trading Company in 1990 to act as a CTA for all customer accounts.  Over 21 years of trading and research make Salem one of the most experienced traders in the business.  Salem is registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and is a member of the National Futures Association.  He owned seats and held full memberships at both the Chicago Board of Trade and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Shaun is the Director of Marketing and the Austin Branch Manager at Abraham Trading Company.  He joined Abraham Trading in 2003 to market to new clients and service existing clientele. He graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Economics in 1991.  He was also a captain of the UT Swimming & Diving team, which won 4 consecutive National Championships.  In 1997, he returned to The University of Texas at Austin where he received a MBA with a focus in Marketing.  Prior to joining Abraham Trading Shaun operated a successful sports marketing company.  His sponsors included NIKE, Dell Computer Corporation, and The Pepsi Bottling Group. Shaun was a member of the 1988 and 1992 USA Olympic Swim Teams, where he won two Olympic Gold Medals as a part of the 400 freestyle relay.

Mark attended The University of Texas at Austin and graduated in May 1995 with a B.B.A. degree in Finance. Mark joined Abraham Trading in January 1995 while still attending school as Salem’s research assistant.  Mark now develops research platforms and aids in developing, testing, and refining ATC’s trading methods.  Mark is the Director of Research for the Austin branch.

Barry is the Chief Operating Officer at Abraham Trading Company.  He is registered with the CFTC as an associated person of Abraham Trading and is a member of the National Futures Association.  Barry attended Texas Tech University from 1976 through 1979, and in 1980 began developing software for financial institutions. In 1992, Barry started his own information management and technology-consulting firm with clients that included banks, accountants, lawyers, doctors, and Abraham Trading Company. In March 1995, Barry sold his consulting firm and joined Abraham Trading.  Barry has been a computer hardware/programming specialist for 31 years.  Barry helped Abraham Trading become the first group to automate order entry to the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.  At one point Abraham Trading was trading 1% of the total volume of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Larry is registered with the CFTC as an associated person of Abraham Trading and is a member of the National Futures Association. Larry graduated from West Texas A&M University in 1993 with a B.B.A. degree in Finance. Larry joined Abraham Trading in 1995 and is responsible for overseeing the trading desk and improving execution and implementation of ATC’s trading strategies.  Larry has 8 years of research experience and has been working for Abraham Trading Company for 13 years.

Chris Barney joined the research department at Abraham Trading in 2008 to assist with development, testing, and refining of ATC's trading systems. Chris graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1999 with a B.S. in Mathematics, and in 2002, earned a Masters degree from Kobe University, Japan, specializing in mathematical logic. During this time, he proved and published new results in the field of set theory, appearing in The Journal of Symbolic Logic.

Abraham Trading Company's experienced traders run the trade desk 24 hours a day from Sunday evening until Friday evening.
