Allocator Investors Choice Top Performer awards are granted to the select few funds that have outperformed their wider peer group in each category. Long Term award categories consider absolute returns from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2021 to determine the winners list for each award. The Awards are hosted by Allocator, an investment data platform. Allocator's website states that over 4000 funds report to the platform, and all funds reporting to Allocator.com are considered for the awards. Funds are categorized by investment strategy and asset level for each award category. The peer group for the award above includes Allocator-reporting funds with under $100 million in assets under management that utilize a Multi-Strategy investment approach in their fund. Generally, Multi-Strategy funds are diversified investment strategies that combine a variety of asset classes and/or market approaches.
